North Carolina Aquarium hosts Dr. Bogus on Pier Fishing Techniques
Need the “reel scoop” on local fall fishing?
The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores will host a sportfishing seminar featuring local fishing expert, “Dr. Bogus,” on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. He will speak on “Fishing from the Bogue Inlet Pier.”
Experience the autumn splendor of the coast with canoe and kayak expeditions, surf fishing lessons or other outdoor adventures. Nature crafts, seafood cooking classes, behind-the-scenes tours and other indoor activities are great in any weather. New holiday camps for children celebrate the wonders of water and its inhabitants, with three days of explorations at the Aquarium, indoors and out.
Our popular Aquarium Birthday Parties and “Sleep with the Fishes” sleepovers are in high demand this fall. Please call early to make plans for an Aquarium experience your group will never forget!
All programs require advance registration . Call Pam Pittman, Registrar, at 252-247-4003, ext. 257, to sign up for a program. Contact Wayne Justice, Special Activities Coordinator, at ext. 227 for more information on the programs.
