Make your dreams for a wonderful wedding at the coast come true – with help from the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. The Aquarium has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2011 Pick. The Knot is a “by brides, for brides” planning network.
Aquarium Special Events Coordinator Becky Davis said the rating affirms the staff’s commitment to customer service. “We feel it’s an honor when a couple chooses the Aquarium to host such a lifetime event; therefore, we treat every event as a personal and unique experience,” she said. “Event staff members do all we can to accommodate the couple’s wants and wishes, and to see that every guest has a memorable time.” The Carteret County Chamber of Commerce also singled out Davis for an Outrageous Customer Service award last year.
The Aquarium can accommodate anything from an intimate gathering to a gala for 500 or more guests. Choose the Living Shipwreck or other exhibit areas, spacious event rooms or an outdoor deck for the setting that suits your style. A Special Events Coordinator works with you on arranging all the details in advance. The Aquarium features a fully-equipped catering kitchen. Tables and chairs, coolers, battery-powered candles and vases are included in the amenities. For your convenience, linens and dance floors can be rented on-site.
