Meet a hatchling sea turtle at this home-school-only program introducing local species with hands-on programs with a focus on sea turtle conservation. Students and staff (a max. of two parents per family) recieve free Aquarium admission. A program fee and preregistration required. Learn more and register below.
Deaf Awareness Day

Programs tailored especially for individuals who are deaf or hearing impaired. Sign language, captioning or scripting will enhance many of the activities of the day – animal feedings, live-animal presentations and films – and interpreters will assist visitors at selected exhibits.

FAMILY NATURE CLUB HIKE

Celebrate nature play and national Take a Child Outside Week with a nature hike at Carolina Beach State Park lead by an Aquarium Educator. Families will see native carnivorous plant species, experience outdoor free-play activities and enjoy a picnic lunch. This program is geared towards families with children ages 10 years old and younger. The program is free but preregistration required. Learn more and register below.
Trick or Treat Under the Sea

Enjoy safe and exciting Halloween fun at “Trick or Treat Under the Sea.” Pirate skeletons, caped superheroes, fairy princesses and many more haunt the wild attraction for three nights of ghoulish good times. Games, magic shows, live animal encounters and spooky divers cause thrills and chills. Trick-or-treaters receive a bounty of treats from local merchants costumed for the event.
Due to the increased popularity of this event tickets are ONLY available in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket quantities are limited and nights will sell out.
TRICK OR TREAT UNDER THE SEA "BOO-ths"
Grab your costume and your business cards and sponsor at the 2017 Trick or Treat Under the Sea. Local businesses and organizations reach thousands of area families and consumers at the popular annual event. The 2017 event features three nights of ghoulish good times Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 26- 28. Booth reservations and sponsorships are available first-come, first-served and are limited.
