Outdoor adventure. Eco-education. Creativity. New friends. Aquarium summer camps provide all this and more. Knowledgeable, trained staff lead activities and engage campers in learning and fun.
Camps run simultaneously for ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12. The Aquarium also offers several weeks of camp for ages 13 and 14.
- Aquanauts, ages 5-6, explore weekly topics through animal interaction, play, storytelling, crafts, and hands-on outdoor activities.
- Marine Detectives, ages 7-9, use investigative skills during animal programs, outdoor excursions, and interactive games to better understand nature.
- Ocean Explorers, ages 10-12, venture outdoors and behind the scenes at the Aquarium, to expand their understanding of animal habitats, adaptations and care.
- Coastal Crusaders, ages 13-14, trek to different coastal environments and engage in activites from snorkeling to surf fishing, to better value and preserve these important habitats. These campers also interact more directly with staff behind the scenes to assist with animal care.
