School Field Trip Information
Visiting the aquarium with your school is a great way to bring education alive. We offer many interactive opportunities for your students to learn more about marine environments.

Field Trip Information
Register your North Carolina school group in advance for free admission. Children and teachers/staff in registered N.C. school groups are admitted at no charge at the time of the visit to the Aquarium if registered in advance. A two-week advance registration is required for free admission. Register early. The Aquraium is a popular destination and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The admission fee for registered parent chaperones is $4 per person.

Outreach – Bringing the Beach Within Reach
Can’t come to the Aquarium? Learn more about the Outreach program where the aquarium comes to your school.
Learn more about climate change, its impact on marine animals and access climate change curriculum and resources.
Teachers can introduce their students to the Aquarium’s animal collection prior to visiting using Encyclopedia of Life Field Guides. These guides focus on specific species offering comprehensive details about the animals including description, behavior, habitat and more.
