Registered North Carolina home schools are offered free general admission for a self-guided tour only from Monday - Friday ONCE A YEAR. Be sure to join the aquarium for many of the daily programs offered that are included in your self guided tour.

Home schools must pre-register at least 24 hours prior to their visit. This includes children in a home school family and two adults only. State issued home school cards must be presented upon check-in with Visitor Services on the day of your visit.

Home school groups consisting of different families must arrange to arrive at the same time. Late-comers without their home school card will be charged regular admission.

Special Activities must be scheduled for groups of ten or more, if your home school is smaller you can either join us for one of our special activities offered to the public on specific days or plan to pay the minimum participant price.
