Dear diver,

“Our” continuing goal as a dive team should be to make the North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island’s “Dive Program” one of the safest in the United States. This will only be achieved through personal teamwork, dedication, and drive of all staff divers. It is your responsibility as a staff diver to read, understand, and comply with the guidelines and procedures provided. Of course, I will be available for any questions and will do my best to help put them in the proper perspective for you, based on my past exhibit and offshore diving experiences. I hope that you will study these guidelines procedures thoroughly and draw your own conclusions as well. I know that we will be modifying these guidelines and procedures as the need for change arises and your input will always be welcomed and heartily accepted. Safe diving.
