Outreach

Can’t make it to the Aquarium? Let the Aquarium come to you!

Our outreach programs offer numerous topics for all ages and groups of varying sizes. Each program is guaranteed to provide amazing, interactive opportunities to learn about the many animals that inhabit the wetter spaces of our area as well as topics that relate to the natural and cultural history of our state.

Are you a teacher? All of our school programs are aligned with North Carolina’s Standard Course of Study guidelines, ensuring that your students meet their requirements while having fun and learning lots!

Libraries, scouts, adult groups and others can also take advantage of our outreach program. Choose your own topic from our list of suggested ideas or adapt a school program to fit the needs of your group! We also have programs that are of more interest to adults and both boy and girl scouts.

To estimate the costs to bring the Aquarium for an outreach program to your school or group, see fee schedule listed in blue box at the top of the page.
