Planning a visit to the NC Aquariums?  Over 1 million people visit the NC Aquariums each year, frequently returning from year to year as there is always something new to see and do.  The Aquarium includes indoor and outdoor exhibits, educational programming, classrooms, meeting spaces and a gift shop.  In addition, there are two changing exhibit galleries, after-hour opportunities, and special activities.

Most visitors can tour the Aquarium in approximately 2 hours.  However, if you plan to participate in any of the Aquarium programs, dig for sharks’  teeth in our fossil pit, or visit the gift shop allow yourself more time. We truly encourage all visitors to experience everything the Aquarium can offer to enhance your visit.
