Discover a week of fun at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island in our Aquatic Adventures and Jr. Aquatic Adventures Summer Camps! During each week of camp, campers will have the opportunity to embark on local field trips, dive into science, make camp crafts (including a t-shirt), enhance their knowledge of Outer Banks nature and marine life, and participate in Friday evening activities at the aquarium!

Campers will have the opportunity to explore local waters and habitats, collect animals, go fishing, splash on a snorkeling adventure, investigate a local maritime forest, and of course make friends along the way! Jr. Aquatic Adventures: For ages 7 - 9

Campers will embark on a week of fun as they dive into science, make camp crafts, splash on a snorkeling venture, and participate in Friday evening activities at the Aquarium! $140.00

Aquatic Adventures: For ages 10 - 12
July 7-10 (FULL)

9 am to 4 pm Tuesday-Friday

This camp will start where the Junior Aquatic Adventure camp left off—expect more in depth field trips to The Nature Conservancy’s Nags Head Woods Preserve and other natural sites on the Outer Banks. The week culminates in a Friday evening overnight at the Aquarium! $150.00

NEW Aqua-Art Adventures: For ages 10-12
July 21-24

9 am to 3 pm Tuesday-Friday

Young artists will explore and collect each morning from the marshes, beaches, and maritime forests of the Outer Banks before spending their afternoons making new creations of coastal-themed arts and crafts. $140.00

NEW Aquatic Adventures Nocturnal Camp: For ages 10-12
August 4-7

5 pm to 9 pm Tuesday-Friday

Get plenty of rest during the day because campers will be busy as day turns to night! We will explore the beach, the Aquarium, and Nags Head Woods to investigate sea turtles, nocturnal animals, bioluminescence, the night sky and more. The week will conclude with a camp sleepover at the Aquarium. $140.00

Seasonal and Day Camps
