School Programming

Dear Teachers,

The following programs are being offered at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. To schedule a program, please contact our Registrar Wendie Paramore at 252-475-2314. All programs must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance, and we encourage early or on-time arrival to ensure a pleasant and organized visit.

Programs are offered at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. September through Memorial Day.  All programs last approximately 20 minutes and take place in Neptune’s Theater.   A  variety of selections are offered, including live animal presentations (offered on certain days due to feeding schedules), videos and lectures. Programs are designed to be interactive and fun for students. Programs are not available on Mondays and Fridays.

Thank you for considering the Aquarium for an upcoming visit. We look forward to welcoming you and your students.
