Halloscreen Under the Sea Hosted by N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher Oct. 30
October 07, 2020
To say it has been a tricky year would be an understatement. That’s why the N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher devised a way to make Halloween less scary and more of a treat in 2020. “Hallo’screen’ Under the Sea,” brings the thrills and chills of Halloween from the Aquarium to the safety and comfort of home virtually Friday, October 30.
The new event creates a virtual environment to enjoy a fab-BOO-lous time with beats, beasts and more. Children will show off their moves and costumes during a Halloween dance party. Aquarium educators share spooky facts and fantastic animals during Hallo‘screen’ creature features. To keep the magical night going, “No Sleeves Magic” stirs up laughs and wonder with an enchanting magic show.
Hallo‘screen’ will take the place of the aquarium’s well-loved, in-person, Trick or Treat Under the Sea event in 2020.
“Typically, the aquarium welcomes thousands of children and their families to the aquarium for Trick or Treat Under the Sea with hands-on games and face-to-face interactions,” said Keely Beard, Aquarium Special Events Coordinator. “This is not a typical year, so instead we will bring the party safely home and continue to share Halloween fun and our love for the ocean in a new and engaging way.”
One Hallo’screen’ pass provides access for one screen, perfect for a single ghost or a whole gaggle of goblins.
Preregistration for this virtual event is required. Each registration is good for a single, one-hour time slot on Friday, Oct. 30: 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $25 per screen. For more details and to register visit ncaquariums.com/fort-fisher.
