The Aquarium Events team regularly hosts Family Paint Nights, Sip and Paint 21+ paint nights, and Craft Nights. Wine and Design on Wheels of Morehead City provide expert instruction and all the materials needed to create a one-of-a-kind art piece that you will treasure. Family Paint Night

June 14: Sting Ray

Instructors from Wine & Design of Morehead City lead participants in painting a Stingray! All materials will be provided along with expert instruction. The event will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Ages 6 and up. $50 per participant. Advanced registration is required. Registration is online only. Bring your favorite snacks and nonalcoholic beverages.

July 12: Pufferfish

Instructors from Wine & Design of Morehead City lead participants in painting a Pufferfish! All materials will be provided along with expert instruction. The event will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Ages 6 and up. $50 per participant. Advanced registration is required. Registration is online only. Sip and Paint 21+ Event

August 16: Sea Turtle Dude

Designed for ages 21 and up! Instructors from Wine & Design of Morehead City lead participants in painting a Sea Turtle! All materials will be provided along with expert instruction. The event will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Ages 21 and up. $50 per participant. Advanced registration is required. Registration is online only. Guests may bring their favorite beer, wine, and champagne along with their favorite snacks.

Craft Day: Coastal Door Hangers

August 2: Oyster OR Sand Dollar

Instructors from Wine & Design of Morehead City lead participants in painting a coastal door hanger with a personalized letter! Participants choose between an oyster door hanger or a sand dollar door hanger. All materials will be provided along with expert instruction. The event will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 10 a.m. - noon. Ages 6 and up. $65 per participant. Advanced registration is required. Registration is online only. Baked goods, coffee, water, and Aquarium admission are included with the ticket. Be sure to specify which decoration you are selecting and the letter you want to paint.

Craft Day: Resin-pour Mosaic Frame

August 9: Cape Lookout Lighthouse

Instructors from Wine & Design of Morehead City lead participants in creating a resin-pour frame, featuring Cape Lookout Lighthouse! All materials, including frame, materials, and resin, will be provided along with expert instruction. The event will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 10 a.m. - noon. Ages 16 and up, in order to accommodate regulations when handling resin. $65 per participant. Advanced registration is required. Registration is online only. Baked goods, coffee, water, and admission to the Aquarium included with ticket. The resin will need to cure for 24 hours, pick up of the frame begins at 8 a.m. the next day.
