  • The Aquarium has four main galleries that take visitors through the Mountains to the Ocean of NC.
  • Inside the aquarium, at the start of your tour is a 32-foot smoky mountain waterfall. 
  • There are over 430,000 total gallons of saltwater and freshwater combined in displays.
  • The Aquarium is 93,000 square feet.
  • The largest habitat holds 306,000 gallons of saltwater.
  • There are two hiking trails at the aquarium, The Theodore Roosevelt Nature Area trail and the Alice Hoffman Nature Trail.
