We look forward to welcoming you to the North Carolina Aquariums!
Your visit will be different than in the past.
Why? Health and safety — yours, ours and others.
Following guidance from NCDHHS, and in accordance with the governor’s Executive Order 224, workers and volunteers at NCDNCR sites are wearing masks in indoor settings beginning Aug. 2, 2021.
In addition to the requirement for all employees and given the continued threat of COVID-19 and variants of the virus, face masks are required for indoor areas of each aquarium. We also encourage visitors to secure their tickets online in advance, as sellouts do happen.
EBT card holders: $3 for adults and $2 for children ages 3-12
At this time, we are unable to accommodate school visits including home schools, group sales, and SENC discounts. We are accepting AZA reciprocal memberships from other zoos and aquariums. We appreciate your understanding.
Cleaning and disinfecting
We care about our guests.
The Aquarium team is thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day.
The Aquarium cares about our animals as well; we have thoroughly researched cleaning products that are safe to use around our animal habitats.
